Who We Are

Adrift was founded in Brisbane in 2012 by Bec Pullar with a simple belief. Fashion should make women feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful. What began as a small boutique has grown into a much-loved Australian label known for its exclusive prints, quality natural fibres, and timeless designs.

We design in Australia, size from XS to 4XL, and care deeply about the women who wear our clothing and the people who help make it. We are a small, tight-knit team who show up every day genuinely passionate about what we do, and we're looking for someone who feels the same way.

The Role

This is not a typical social media role. We're not looking for someone to just upload stories and schedule posts. We're looking for a storyteller.

To be clear about what this role is and is not. This is a hands-on, daily execution position. You will be behind the camera every day, shooting, filming and editing content across all of our platforms. We have a strong team already in place around you. What we do not yet have is someone whose sole focus is creating elevated video content and telling the Adrift story every single day. That is exactly what this role is built for. You'll be working closely with our founder Bec, our Marketing Manager Emily, and the broader marketing and creative team to bring Adrift to life across every platform. This will include Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and beyond. You'll plan, shoot, edit and publish end-to-end with minimal hand-holding, and you'll bring your own ideas and instincts to every piece of content you create.

This is a role for someone who is driven, creatively confident, and ready to make their mark.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Producing a minimum of one high-quality reel per day and three or more stories across platforms.
  • Capturing daily content across the office, photoshoots and our stores.
  • Planning, shooting, editing and publishing content end to end.
  • Creating short form and long form content that builds the brand, drives awareness and converts.
  • Developing original content concepts aligned with the broader brand strategy.
  • Staying ahead of platform trends and identifying formats that are right for our audience before they peak.
  • Collaborating with the founder, marketing, design and production teams on campaigns, launches and ideation.
  • Maintaining a premium visual identity across everything we put out.

What We're Looking For

  • Someone who genuinely loves creating content and doesn't need to be told what to do next.
  • An exceptional working knowledge of cameras and editing software.
  • A strong eye for visual storytelling.
  • An ability to manage multiple projects and fast turnaround times without losing quality.
  • A passion for fashion, women, and brands with a real point of view.
  • And most importantly, someone who gets Adrift. Who understands what we stand for and wants to be part of building it.

You don't need years of experience. You need a portfolio that shows us you can do this, and the drive to prove it every day.
