The Project

The Alkimos Desalination Plant Project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.

The Role

You'll support tradespeople across the site, keeping work areas organised and materials moving where they're needed. Day to day, you'll assist with fabrication, welding and mechanical tasks, handle tools and equipment, and help set up and pack down work sites. You'll work closely with boilermakers, fitters and riggers, picking up skills and experience as you go.

What you need

• White Card, trade specific tickets highly regarded
• Willingness to learn and take direction on the job
• A genuine safety first attitude
• Experience on large infrastructure or industrial projects, highly regarded
