At Nine Food and Lifestyle Events we create unforgettable experiences that leave lasting memories. We have produced some of Australia's most loved, premium food festivals including the Night Noodle Markets, Good Food Month, The Good Food Guide Awards and are now curating and delivering events across the Nine publishing Lifestyle brands, Sunday Life, and others partnering with major brands.
Working closely with the Senior Business Development Manager, you will drive revenue growth by sourcing new business partnerships and leading compelling client pitches for Nine’s premium Food and Lifestyle portfolio. This autonomous role offers the unique opportunity to champion iconic event brands while fast-tracking your career progression toward a future leadership position.
Day To Day You Will
- Proactively source leads and make outbound cold calls to introduce event capabilities.
- Secure, prepare, and lead qualified sales presentations with key industry decision-makers.
- Collaborate with the senior team to structure, negotiate, and close valuable partnerships.
- Work toward achieving and exceeding individual KPIs, conversion rates, and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline records and client interactions within the CRM.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging industry trends and new client opportunities.
- Manage daily sales administration and maintain prompt, professional client communication.
What You'll Bring
- Prior experience in a proactive B2B sales environment with strong outbound calling skills.
- A proven ability to manage a sales pipeline independently and lead client meetings.
- Resilience and a goal-driven mindset with a consistent history of meeting targets.
- Outstanding verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and a persuasive presentation style.
- The capability to handle objections, negotiate effectively, and build rapport quickly.
- A genuine interest in or understanding of live events, activations, and experiences.
- Strong self-motivation to excel autonomously within a fast-paced, collaborative team.
