Join a leading Brisbane-based financial services organisation as a Senior DevOps Engineer, where you will play a key role in uplifting DevOps capability and driving modern engineering practices across the business. This is a hands-on role focused on CI/CD optimisation, platform governance, and secure delivery, working closely with engineering and leadership teams.

Candidates on working holiday visas or those without local Australian experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and uplift DevOps practices across GitHub and enterprise CI/CD platforms
• Build and optimise scalable pipelines using GitHub Actions and reusable workflows
• Lead migration initiatives from Jenkins, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps to GitHub
• Implement governance controls including access management, branching, and repository standards
• Embed DevSecOps practices such as code scanning, dependency management, and secret detection
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor engineers to drive best practice and continuous improvement

Key Skills

• Strong experience with GitHub Enterprise, including administration and platform configuration
• Advanced knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and version control best practices
• Proven expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines at scale
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, runners, and automation frameworks
• Solid DevSecOps capability with exposure to security and quality tooling
• Cloud and container experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with Docker and Kubernetes
