Senior Accountant

They're now looking for a Senior Accountant who wants to own their role, not just fill a seat.

THE ROLE

You will assume hands-on responsibility for business services and tax advisory across a diverse portfolio of clients operating across a wide range of industries, while also playing an active part in uplifting the capability of junior and intermediate team members through mentorship and day-to-day guidance.

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Review of financial statements and income tax returns spanning all entity structures
• Providing tailored tax planning strategies and high-level business advisory to clients across various sectors
• Preparation and review of complex tax matters including Div 7A, CGT and FBT calculations
• Acting as the go-to point of contact for your client portfolio, building deep and enduring professional relationships
• Spotting and converting advisory opportunities while actively contributing to practice growth through referrals and cross-service collaboration

ABOUT YOU

• You will bring a minimum of 3+ years' experience within an Australian public practice environment and possess the communication and leadership qualities needed to thrive in a client-facing and team-oriented role.
• A confident and articulate communicator across email, phone and face-to-face interactions
• Solid technical grounding across business services and taxation
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
• Self-motivated, growth-oriented and eager to make your mark
• Familiarity with Xero will be highly regarded
