Role Description

The AI Consultant & Education Specialist will design and deliver professional learning programs that help educators effectively, safely and ethically integrate AI tools and concepts into classroom practice. This hybrid role is based in Brisbane, QLD, with a mix of on-site work with schools and organisations and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with education clients to understand their needs, developing AI-focused training materials, co-leading and leading workshops and webinars, and providing ongoing implementation support. The role also involves translating complex AI concepts into accessible, classroom-ready strategies, creating resources and documentation, and staying up to date with emerging AI trends in education. Collaboration with internal teams to refine offerings, contribute to thought leadership, and support business development activities is also expected.

Qualifications

• Strong applied AI skills, including Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP), with the ability to explain these concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in Data Science and Pattern Recognition to design practical, education-focused AI use cases and solutions.
• Demonstrated Consulting experience, ideally within education or technology, including needs analysis, solution design, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience developing and delivering professional learning or training programs for educators or adult learners.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with a focus on clear, inclusive, and accessible language.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time across on-site engagements in Brisbane and remote work.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Education, Data Science, Computer Science, Learning Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of contemporary pedagogy, digital learning tools, and the ethical use of AI in education is highly beneficial.
