Inclusive Allied Health provides Occupational Therapy to children, young people and adults living with psychosocial and neurodevelopmental disabilities across Adelaide.
The team uses functional recovery and trauma informed principles to support clients in building capacity, improving daily living skills, and enhancing participation in their communities. In addition to direct therapy, Inclusive Allied Health offers positive behaviour support, reflective practice, and clinical supervision.

About the role.
This is a full-time/ Part-Time Occupational Therapist role based in Adelaide, SA, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows a combination of community, clinic, and work-from-home activities. The Occupational Therapist will assess functional capacity, develop individualised intervention plans, and deliver therapy to children, young people and adults living with disability in the community.
Day-to-day tasks include completing standardised and observational assessments, implementing functional recovery-focused interventions, documenting clinical notes and reports, and collaborating with families, carers, support coordinators, and other health professionals. The role also involves contributing to quality improvement initiatives, participating in reflective practice and clinical supervision, and engaging in ongoing professional development. Occasional travel within Adelaide for community visits may be required.
About you.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in occupational therapy and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate professional board or association.
- Demonstrated experience working as an Occupational Therapist – min 12 months.
- Understanding of person-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented practice frameworks.
- Experience working within NDIS scheme and understanding of NDIS legislation Demonstrable understanding and use of clinical frameworks to inform clinical assessment and interventions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with participants and collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Experience working with participants with complex behaviours in community or clinic-based settings.
- Current driver’s license and ability to travel within Adelaide for community visits (or willingness to obtain, if required).
