Part-Time Truck Driver/Freight Handler

About the opportunity

As our Truck Driver/Freight Handler, you’ll be based in one of our facilities, working with colleagues across our processing and deliveries teams to keep the cogs of our business turning. Safely operating a forklift and also sorting product on the floor, you’ll support with loading parcels/pallets for our delivery and transport drivers to head out on the road and deliver for Australia like never before. There will also be times where you will be driving our fleet to pick-ups when required. If you enjoy variety, then this combination operations role is one for you.

About you

• Have full work rights (no restrictions)
• Hold a valid LF Forklift Licence/MR Truck license - manual transmission experience would be desirable
• Be fit enough to lift/load and unload mail/parcel items of all different shapes and sizes frequently around our facilities and into trucks. Also be operating these trucks to do occasional pick-ups.
• Be safety-focused, willing to undergo a vehicle assessment and pre-employment checks (medical, drug/alcohol screening and national police checks).
• You’re a self-starter that enjoys working in a busy operations environment.
• You enjoy connecting with others in the community to support us to deliver on time, and like never before.
• Able to work the following part time hours - Monday to Friday (2:00pm - 7:00pm)
