Bravas is a leading premium funding business operating across Australia and New Zealand through its portfolio of specialist financial services brands. Backed by Pemba Capital Partners, the organisation has recently completed a significant acquisition, bringing together multiple businesses under a unified group structure. With approximately 130 employees across Australia and New Zealand, Bravas is now entering its next phase of growth, focused on strengthening organisational capability, embedding a cohesive culture and creating a scalable platform to support continued expansion and future acquisitions.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Head of People & Culture will lead the organisation's people strategy and provide trusted advice to the Executive Leadership Team across all aspects of workforce performance, organisational capability and culture. Leading a small team spanning People & Culture, Payroll and Workplace Services, you will play a pivotal role in building leadership capability, strengthening organisational effectiveness and embedding consistent people practices across the business. Working within a fast-paced, commercially focused private equity environment, you will influence executive decision-making while balancing strategic initiatives with operational leadership across employee relations, workforce planning, remuneration, governance and organisational development. This is a genuine opportunity to shape and mature the function, enabling leaders to confidently lead their teams while positioning the business for its next stage of growth.

You are an experienced and commercially minded People & Culture leader with a strong generalist background and the confidence to operate autonomously within a growing organisation. Comfortable partnering with executives and coaching leaders, you bring well-developed employee and industrial relations expertise, sound organisational judgement and experience building high-performing teams and contemporary people practices. You thrive in environments where growth, change and continuous improvement are constant, combining strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on approach that delivers practical outcomes. Exposure to private equity or acquisitive businesses will be well regarded, although candidates from other dynamic and commercially focused organisations are encouraged to apply.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing organisation and play a central role in shaping its culture, leadership capability and long-term success.
