  • Undertake fire engineering analysis using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Fire Safety leaders, multidisciplinary project teams and clients to deliver coordinated project outcomes.
  • Attend project meetings, workshops and site inspections.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, technical reports, inspection reports and supporting documentation.
  • Represent Lucid at industry events, client meetings and professional engagements.
  • Maintain high standards of communication, organisation and technical excellence within a consulting environment.

This role would generally suit an engineer with 2+ years’ experience in fire engineering.

You will ideally bring:

  • Experience in the local construction industry with exposure to fire safety engineering.
  • An Australian recognised degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Strong analytical thinking, communication and report writing skills.
  • Sound problem-solving and decision-making capability.

  • The ability to manage tasks independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislative and compliance frameworks.

What we offer

  • The opportunity to grow your career within a national engineering consultancy.
  • A structured career development pathway with technical and leadership training.
  • A supportive and collaborative environment with mentoring and internal training programs.
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • Exposure to an exciting and diverse range of projects.
  • Financial assistance for post-graduate Fire Safety Engineering studies.
  • Support to obtain industry accreditations and professional development.
