We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our growing Statutory Insurance NSW - Workers' Compensation practice working with a highly regarded team based in our Sydney or Newcastle office.
The successful candidate will have minimum of five years’ post-admission experience in personal injury claims, specifically Workers' Compensation. This is a genuine growth role for the right candidate, offering the opportunity for clear career progression within a supportive and nurturing environment.
The Statutory Insurance NSW - Workers' Compensation section is a defendant insurance legal team which has over 60 people across the Newcastle and Sydney office. This role will have the opportunity to work closely with partners and other team members across Newcastle and Sydney.
You Will Ideally Have The Following Skills And Experience
- minimum five years' of post-admission experience in the personal injury space, specifically Workers' Compensation on the defendant side;
- the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a supportive and collaborative team;
- excellent technical, analytical and drafting skills with keen attention to detail;
- outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
- a strong commitment to client service and the ability to manage client relationships;
- a willingness and ability to mentor and supervise junior members of the team; and
- the ability to organise and prioritise effectively.
