The Opportunity

Step into the spotlight as our new

Venue Officer and help bring Perth’s most dynamic events to life. Set within one of the city's most stunning historic venues, you’ll partner with diverse clients to deliver everything from high-profile corporate functions to elegant weddings and community showcases.

If you have the technical know-how to handle live logistics, the quick wit to solve problems on the fly, and a genuine passion for people to help deliver seamless events, we want you at the heart of our action.

What makes this role exciting?

  • Facilitate a Diverse Program of High-Profile Events: Provide critical operational support across a high-volume calendar of concerts, festivals, performances, exhibitions, community, corporate and civic events within one of Perth's premier landmark venues.
  • Ensure Operational Compliance and Safety: Oversee end-to-end venue logistics, including technical configurations, facility management, and strict adherence to liquor licensing regulations and hire agreements.
  • Deliver Exceptional Client and Stakeholder Support: Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for diverse clients, ensuring their event objectives are met through professional communication and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Maintain Premium Venue Standards and Accessibility: Guarantee the facility is presented to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and universal accessibility, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all community members and dignitaries.

Eligibility

To be eligible to work for us, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A right to work in Australia (e.g. a birth certificate, current passport or current visa)
  • Fitness for work via a pre-employment medical
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Training (RSA)
  • Have completed or willingness to complete: Working at Heights Course
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months).
