About the role
This newly created leadership role is responsible for ensuring RACGP's Northern Territory faculty delivers an exceptional experience for GP members. Reporting to the State Manager, you'll have the opportunity to shape regional priorities, improve systems and build strong relationships across the NT healthcare sector.
Play a key role in supporting the GPs who care for communities across the Northern Territory. You'll have the opportunity to lead a capable team, shape regional priorities, strengthen member engagement and make a lasting impact on primary healthcare across the region.
You'll lead a small, capable team, overseeing operations, governance, member programs and events, while working closely with key stakeholders to strengthen general practice across the Territory.

In this role, officially titled Member Engagement Team Lead, you'll also:
Lead and develop a high-performing team
Build strong relationships with GPs and healthcare stakeholders
Deliver impactful member programs and events
Improve operational performance and service delivery
Manage regional planning and budgets
Oversee governance and committee support
Collaborate nationally to share best practice
Oversee and assist with writing submissions and grants
Skills and experience
Leadership experience in healthcare, membership, not-for-profit or professional services
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
Experience delivering programs, events or member services
Operational management experience including planning, reporting and budgets
Confidence leading teams through change and continuous improvement
Excellent written communication and report writing skills
Experience working with general practice, primary healthcare or membership organisations is desired
