About the role
The Senior Project Manager – Service Design & Commissioning plays a key role in delivering HammondCare’s service development pipeline by providing project management, coordination, governance, and reporting support across multiple projects and workstreams.
Working closely with the Director of Service Design & Commissioning, this role supports service design, operational readiness, and commissioning activities, ensuring projects are planned, tracked, governed, and delivered effectively. The position helps translate agreed service design outcomes into actionable project plans, workflows, and operational requirements while maintaining visibility of progress, risks, and dependencies across the portfolio.
This role partners closely with the Director of Service Design & Commissioning, Clinical Operational Design & Commissioning Partner, Care Units, and Enabling Units including Finance, Technology, People, Quality, Governance & Risk, and Communications.
To succeed, you will bring strong project management expertise, excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, sound business acumen, and the ability to drive change in a complex environment. A commitment to HammondCare’s Mission and strategic vision, combined with strong relationship-building and reporting capabilities, will be essential.

- Project management and delivery support for service design and commissioning activities
- Service design coordination and documentation support
- Support operational readiness planning and tracking

- Stakeholder engagement and coordination Commissioning and service go-live support
About you
- Demonstrated commitment to engage with and uphold HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
- Experience in project management, preferably in healthcare or complex service environments
- Strong organisational and planning skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to translate complex information into clear plans, documentation and reporting
- Experience supporting governance, reporting and risk management processes
- Experience in healthcare service commissioning, operational readiness, or service design environments will be highly regarded.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and frameworks is desirable.
- Understanding of health, aged care, or hospital environments is advantageous. Experience supporting change management and service implementation initiatives will be highly regarded
