At our Chermside clinic, we deliver multidisciplinary allied health services both in-clinic and in clients’ homes, supporting people across North Brisbane to stay active, healthy, and independent.

    About the Role

    We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Exercise Physiologist to join our Healthy Connections allied health team on a permanent part-time basis, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position. Whether you’re a recent graduate or have some experience under your belt, what matters most to us is your passion for helping people, your willingness to learn, and your ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

    You’ll be joining a team of around 25 allied health professionals - including Exercise Physiologists with a wide range of backgrounds and experience, alongside Remedial Massage Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists. There’s genuine camaraderie here, and plenty of support no matter where you’re at in your career.

    What You’ll Do

      Deliver high-quality, client-centred exercise physiology services both in-clinic and in clients’ homes Conduct initial assessments, develop tailored exercise programs, and monitor client progress over time Facilitate community fitness classes and specialised group sessions (think: cardiopulmonary rehab, falls prevention, Parkinson’s groups, and more) Work confidently across multiple funding streams including My Aged Care, Support at Home, NDIS, DVA, Medicare, and private clients Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the best outcomes for our diverse client base (primarily older adults) Contribute to the development of new programs, initiatives and bring your ideas to the table Support marketing and brand awareness through blogs, client resources, and social media participation

    To be eligible for this role, you’ll bring:

      A tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology with current ESSA accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist New graduates are encouraged to apply — salary will be aligned to your experience and classification A genuine passion for working with older adults, NDIS clients, and people living with disability or chronic conditions An empathetic, friendly approach and excellent communication skills A collaborative mindset — you’re a team player who actively contributes to a positive team culture Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to adapt and problem-solve on the go Current First Aid and CPR certification Current Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle (community visits required) Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
