About Allied Health Services
Allied Health at Cabrini is a rapidly expanding and highly integrated service comprising twelve professional disciplines. The department plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across the organisation.
Cabrini Allied Health offers a wide range of opportunities, including senior consultant and leadership roles, clinical stream positions, junior staff rotation and support programs, professional development and teaching opportunities, and the cultivation of strong external and university partnerships.
What we're looking for
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Grade 1 Speech Pathologist to join our team.
This role is ideal for junior grade 1's or a new graduate. Prior hospital exposure — whether through placements or work experience — is desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, sound clinical knowledge, and a commitment to evidence-based assessment and management of adult communication and swallowing disorders.
You must have
Along with your passion for speech pathology, you will demonstrate the following attributes:
- Eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Passionate about adult communication and swallowing management across a range of clinical presentations
- Experienced or familiar with hospital-based practice (clinical placements or work experience)
- Skilled in time management and adaptable in a dynamic clinical environment
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Committed to ongoing professional development and clinical research
- Able to work both independently and within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
- Aligned with Cabrini’s Mission, Values, and Speech Pathology Australia’s Code of Ethics
