At Dreamworld, we're passionate about creating happy memories that last a lifetime. We're looking for a Shutdown Maintenance Supervisor to join our Engineering team and lead the delivery of scheduled ride maintenance shutdowns across the park.
Reporting to the Operational Maintenance Manager, you'll lead a skilled team of tradespeople, coordinate contractors and project manage shutdown maintenance activities to ensure they are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
- Providing operational input at the planning stage of ride shutdowns to ensure their success.
- Planning and managing contractors and labour to ensure the efficient progress of work.
- Continuously monitoring shutdown progress against target milestones to ensure they completed on-time.
- Leading a small group of motivated team members throughout shutdown projects.
- Reviewing test and inspection results to ensure components are within acceptable limits.
- Ensuring that all work is undertaken to the highest quality both from a technical and aesthetic perspective.
- Ensuring the necessary documentation and records are in-place for all shutdown work completed, including return to service.
- Promote a strong safety culture through leadership, Toolbox Talks and WHS compliance.
- Support continuous improvement across maintenance planning and execution.
What you'll bring
- Relevant trade or engineering qualification. Minimum five years' experience in an engineering or maintenance environment.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- An attention to detail for ensuring compliance with maintenance procedures.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Current C Class Driver Licence.
- Experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, entertainment or tourism environments will be highly regarded.
