ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Level 2 Service Engineer, you’ll provide trusted support that helps our clients stay secure, productive, and confident in their technology.
You’ll work across a broad range of technologies, stepping in to solve more complex challenges and bring clarity when it matters most. Along the way, you’ll build strong relationships, contribute to projects, and continue developing your technical capability.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Providing Level 2 technical support to clients predominately remotely and via onsite visits as required.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues across desktops, servers, cloud platforms and networks to minimise disruption
- Owning service requests from initiation through to resolution, keeping clients informed throughout
- Proactively monitoring environments to identify prevent issues before they impact operations
- Performing maintenance, updates and patching to ensure systems remain secure and reliable
- Creating and maintaining accurate technical and client documentation within IT Glue to support team efficiency and consistent outcomes.
- Supporting and mentoring Level 1 team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Contributing to infrastructure upgrades, migration, and projects
- Building trusted client relationships through clear communication and dependable service.
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, systems and client outcomes

- Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Exchange Online
- VMware and Hyper-V
- Fortinet
- Datto RMM, Datto BCDR and Autotask PSA
- Firewalls, networking, servers and storage solutions

You’ll bring:
- Around 2+ years’ experience in a managed services or client-facing IT role
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments and core infrastructure.
- Experience with hardware, software, servers, and networking
- A solid understanding of: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure, Networking fundamentals and Virtualisation platforms (VMWare/Hyper-V)
- Excellent customer service, problem solving and communication skills
- A valid Class C driver’s licence
- A valid National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
