Join Lutheran Services as a Home Care Support Worker and support our clients to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own homes. This is more than a job - it’s an opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide care that truly feels like family.

Location: Based in Caboolture, with service coverage across surrounding areas including Buderim.

Role Type: Casual | 20 hours per fortnight | Availability required across weekdays and weekends (preferred)

Remuneration: $41.23 – $45.31 per hour (incl. 25% casual loading) + Super + Salary Packaging + Benefits

About the Role

As a Home Care Support Worker, you’ll provide personalised, in-home support to aged care clients, helping them maintain independence and enjoy a high quality of life. No two days are the same - you’ll be out in the community making a genuine impact.

You Will

  • Provide person-centred care tailored to each client’s goals and preferences
  • Assist with personal care (e.g. showering, dressing, grooming)
  • Support with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and shopping
  • Accompany clients to appointments and community activities
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and social connection
  • Work closely with case managers and families to deliver consistent care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for compassionate, reliable individuals who genuinely care about supporting older people.

  • Certificate III or higher in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
  • Experience working in home care or aged care
  • A caring, respectful, and client-focused approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and a National Police Check
