At Komatsu, we're looking for an HSE Advisor who is proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to helping our people return home safely every day. Whether your experience comes from mining, construction, manufacturing, logistics, heavy industry or another operational environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the implementation of health, safety, environmental and sustainability initiatives across the South East Region.
- Conducting workplace inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Delivering HSE training, inductions, toolbox talks, and safety communications.
- Supporting workers' compensation and rehabilitation activities.
- Coaching leaders and employees to strengthen safety capability and compliance.
- Partnering with stakeholders to identify risks and implement practical safety improvements.
About You
You'll be a collaborative safety professional who enjoys working with people and influencing positive outcomes.
You'll Ideally Bring
- A people centrerd approach to this role.
- A genuine interest in Health, Safety and Environment, with some exposure to safety, operational, industrial, workshop, warehousing, construction, field service or similar environments being highly regarded.
- Understanding of risk management, incident reporting, workplace inspections and HSE systems.
- Exposure to ISO management systems, internal audits or continuous improvement processes would be highly regarded.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships with frontline teams, supervisors and managers.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, learning and continuous improvement.
- A qualification in Work Health & Safety, Environment, Risk Management or a related discipline is highly regarded, but not essential. We welcome applicants with relevant experience, transferable skills and a genuine passion for safety.
