About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our highly regarded CTP practice in Newcastle. The team is led by a recognised insurance law specialist with extensive experience in CTP litigation, catastrophic injury claims, complex liability disputes, fraud matters and indemnity issues, acting for major insurers and industry stakeholders across New South Wales.

About you

Our ideal candidate is a proactive and commercially minded lawyer with a strong background in insurance litigation and a passion for delivering outstanding client outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • 5+ years' post-admission experience, ideally within CTP, personal injury or defendant insurance law.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex litigated matters with minimal supervision.
  • Strong technical legal skills and sound judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A client-focused approach and the ability to build lasting stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine interest in mentoring and developing others.
