Data Test Analyst

• 6 month daily rate contract
• Working with a leading organisation
• Paying up to $420 per day including super

We're working with a client looking for an Data Migration Test Analyst to join a large-scale data transformation project. You'll play a key role in ensuring data is accurately migrated, validated and reconciled as it moves from legacy systems into a new data platform.

What you'll be doing

• Test and validate data migration activities from source to target systems
• Perform data reconciliation and investigate any data quality issues
• Use SQL to compare data, validate transformations and confirm migration accuracy
• Test ETL processes and data flows across warehouse and reporting environments
• Create test cases, execute testing, log defects and support issue resolution
• Work closely with business analysts, developers and data teams to deliver high-quality outcomes

What we're looking for

• Experience as a Data Migration Test Analyst, Data QA or Data Warehouse Tester
• Strong SQL skills and experience validating large datasets
• Hands-on experience with data migration, reconciliation and ETL testing
• Understanding of data warehouses and modern data platforms
• Experience writing test cases, managing defects and supporting end-to-end testing
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence and Postman
