The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Storeperson to join our close-knit Trade Store team in Albury!

As a Storeperson, you’ll be familiar with meeting KPIs, working safely and communicating/escalating concerns to stakeholders. Your communication ability and reliability will be crucial to providing our customers with an excellent experience.

Covering both the back of house (where you will be 80% of the time) and interacting with customers; this role is perfect for someone looking for an all-rounder role.

This is a small site, with a team of 7 people, making it ideal for someone looking for a long term fit.

This is a permanent, full-time Monday to Friday opportunity with a fixed roster between

8:00am and 4:30pm. Full time working rights will be required for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, pick, pack and prepare orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Acting with care to ensure customer orders are treated.
  • Assist with inventory management and stocktake.
  • Operate forklifts to support receiving and dispatch activities.
  • Provide an excellent customer service experience (when required).
  • Keeping administration up to date and to standard.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Exposure to warehousing and/or retail work (Bunnings, Coles, Kmart or similar experience is an advantage).
  • Good communication skills, a great work ethic and a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • A customer service mindset and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Punctuality and values in line with Blackwoods.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to manage time effectively.

A forklift license is preferred though we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.
