Help us deliver a better tomorrow
Australia Post plays a vital role in keeping Australia moving. Behind every delivery is a complex, intelligent network and we are continuing to evolve how that network operates to meet the demands of today and tomorrow.
As eCommerce grows and customer expectations continue to shift, we are investing in smarter, more scalable ways of working. This includes how we design, manage and partner across our delivery network.
We are building what is next and looking for leaders who want to shape it with us.
About the opportunity
This is a pivotal leadership role within our Delivery Partner Strategy team, responsible for building and sustaining a high-quality pipeline of delivery partners to support Australia Post’s growing and evolving network.
As Manager, Partner Acquisition & Comms, you’ll own the end-to-end acquisition strategy, from market sourcing and attraction through to selection and onboarding, ensuring we have the right partners in place to meet both current demand and future growth.
You’ll operate at the intersection of operations, commercial, and workforce strategy, using data-driven insights and market knowledge to shape how we attract, engage, and enable our delivery partners. This is a highly visible role where your work directly impacts network performance, customer outcomes, and our ability to successfully deliver through peak periods and transformation initiatives.
What you’ll deliver with us
Reporting to the Head of Delivery Partner Strategy, you’ll lead the design and delivery of a scalable, end-to-end partner acquisition strategy that ensures Australia Post has the right delivery partners in place to meet current demand and future growth. You’ll bring a strong focus on quality, consistency, and efficiency across the pipeline, while enhancing how we engage and communicate with our partners.
You will also:
- Design and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies to build a sustainable, high-quality delivery partner pipeline
- Manage the end-to-end acquisition funnel, from lead generation through to selection
- Use data and funnel analytics to optimise partner quality, volume, and cost outcomes
- Partner closely with Operations, Commercial, and Capacity Planning to align with network needs
About you
You’re a commercially minded leader with strong experience managing high-volume pipelines in complex, distributed environments. You understand how to balance quality, scale, and speed.
You bring:
- Proven experience building and managing large-scale sourcing or acquisition pipelines
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across operations, commercial, and finance functions
- A data-led mindset, using insights to drive decisions and continuously improve performance
- Experience developing and executing sourcing and communication strategies across multiple channels
- Strong communication and engagement skills, with a focus on clarity, consistency, and customer outcomes
- An understanding of (or strong interest in) the last-mile logistics or contractor workforce landscape
Most importantly, you’re someone who takes a customer-first approach, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is motivated by building something scalable, sustainable, and impactful.
How we’ll deliver for you
- The opportunity to lead in Australia Post’s most complex and innovative transformation journey.
- Exposure to enterprise‑scale automation, technology and network transformation.
- Genuine influence shaping national network performance.
- Leadership development, flexibility and career growth within a purpose‑led organisation.
