About the Role
If you’re looking for a full-time, permanent opportunity to develop your compliance skills in a supportive team environment, this could be the role for you. We’re excited to welcome a Compliance Officer to our Compliance Department, based at our Townsville Head Office.
In this role, you’ll support a varied range of compliance activities while learning from experienced team members. You may assist with investigating and analysing breaches, reviewing information, maintaining records, and supporting the compliance sign-off process for marketing material, helping the organisation meet its regulatory obligations. More than a checklist of technical skills, we’re looking for someone who will be a great fit for our team and culture. You’ll bring a positive attitude, willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and a genuine interest in supporting our members and people.
This full-time role is based on a 38-hour week and is located at our Townsville Head Office.
About You
To be eligible to apply for this position you must demonstrate the following:
- Strong understanding of financial services compliance obligations
- Ability to interpret compliance obligations and documentation
- Ability to research information to support case investigations, including accessing information on government registers where required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with information and data
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous experience in compliance, administration, banking, or financial services
- Relevant study or qualifications
