Due to business growth, Ingenia is seeking a Head of Health, Safety & Environment to lead our national HSE function.
Reporting to the GM People & Culture, you will shape and deliver Ingenia's HSE strategy, lead a high-performing team, and drive a proactive safety culture across our holiday parks, communities and support office network.
This is a highly influential leadership role for someone who leads through partnership, coaching and collaboration, rather than compliance alone. You'll work closely with operational leaders to translate safety requirements into practical, meaningful outcomes that improve how our people work every day.
A key focus will be developing and executing a long-term safety vision that improves performance and drives measurable improvements in safety performance, injury prevention and risk management.
We're looking for a strategic and pragmatic HSE leader who can build trusted relationships, influence at all levels, and balance operational realities with best-practice safety outcomes. Equally comfortable in the field and the boardroom, you'll bring the credibility, commercial acumen and leadership required to drive lasting cultural change.

In this role, you will
- Shape and execute Ingenia’s HSE strategy, creating a proactive and engaged safety culture
- Build trusted relationships that influence and support leaders, teams and operational stakeholders
- Translate HSE requirements into practical solutions that improve safety outcomes across our parks and communities
- Drive injury prevention, risk management, workers’ compensation and return-to-work performance
- Lead and develop an experienced HSE team, using data, insights and continuous improvement to deliver meaningful business impact
You’re Likely a Match If You
- Are a strategic HSE leader with experience driving cultural change and improving safety outcomes across complex, multi-site environments.
- Have proven leadership experience in HSE, with the ability to develop and empower high-performing teams.
- Possess strong expertise in workers' compensation, injury management and return-to-work programs.
- Have delivered a track record of improving safety performance through practical, data-led initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Have exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships across all levels of the business.
- Hold relevant qualifications in Safety, Occupational Therapy or a related discipline, with a strong understanding of WHS and workers' compensation legislation.
