For over 170 years, Anglicare has supported people and communities across Sydney and the surrounds. Our Seniors Communities portfolio spans Retirement Living and Support at Home services, supporting thousands of older Australians and their families.
We’re looking for a Cyber Risk Analyst to join our Cyber Security and IT Risk team. This role focuses on performing cyber risk assessments, supporting governance and compliance initiatives, and helping strengthen Anglicare’s security posture across people, processes and technology. Working with the Cyber Risk and Threat team and their processes, you will help identify and mitigate cyber risks, and contribute to the protection of Anglicare’s critical systems and digital assets.
As part of a purpose-driven organisation, you’ll be working in a collaborative and values-led environment where your work directly contributes to enriching lives and strengthening communities.
Your opportunity
The Cyber Risk Analyst plays an important role in supporting Anglicare’s cyber security governance, risk management and compliance activities. You will work across the organisation to conduct risk assessments, monitor compliance with security frameworks and policies, and provide insights that help strengthen cyber resilience and reduce organisational risk.
Working with the Cyber Risk & Threat team, you will collaborate with Cyber Security, IT Architecture and business stakeholders to support governance frameworks, threat modelling activities and risk mitigation programs. Through your work, you will help ensure Anglicare maintains a secure and resilient technology environment that supports its mission and operations.
With ownership, you will:
Conduct cyber security, operational and compliance risk assessments to identify risks, vulnerabilities and areas for improvement. You will support risk audit activities and risk mitigation as well as monitor compliance with security policies and standards across the organisation. You will assist with threat modelling and risk mitigation activities, while working with the team in accordance to their processes, to produce high-quality reports and documentation that support informed decision-making and strong cyber security governance outcomes.
What you’ll bring
You are a cyber security and risk professional with experience in governance, compliance and risk management practices. You have a strong understanding of cyber security principles, risk assessment methodologies and industry frameworks, and enjoy identifying risks and working with teams to mitigate issues that improve organisational security and resilience.
You combine strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are collaborative, detail-oriented and proactive, with a passion for continuous learning and staying informed about emerging threats, evolving regulations and industry best practices.
