The Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud & Linux Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise Linux environments and deep capability in public cloud platforms.

In this role, you will provide advanced support, handle complex escalations, and drive performance optimisation across cloud and hybrid environments. You will act as a key technical resource, contributing to system stability, platform improvements, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L3/L4 support for Enterprise Linux systems in production environments

Troubleshoot complex OS, performance, and system stability issues

Perform root cause analysis for recurring and high‑severity incidents

Conduct performance analysis and optimise CPU, memory, disk, and network usage

Execute Linux kernel tuning and system‑level optimisation

Design, deploy, and support workloads across cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)

Collaborate with cloud, networking, security, and application teams

Support and troubleshoot hybrid and multi‑cloud environments

Mentor L2 engineers and contribute to knowledge base documentation

Participate in on‑call rotations and incident response activities

What You’ll Need

Strong experience with Enterprise Linux (RHEL and/or SLES)

Advanced troubleshooting skills at OS and kernel level

Deep understanding of system internals (processes, memory, storage, networking)

Experience with performance analysis tools (top, vmstat, iostat, sar, netstat, perf, strace, tcpdump)

Strong expertise in at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Working knowledge of additional cloud platforms

Experience supporting production workloads in cloud environments

Strong understanding of cloud security and shared responsibility models

Experience with performance optimisation (CPU, memory, disk I/O, networking)

Hands‑on experience with Linux kernel tuning (sysctl, scheduler, memory tuning)

Solid understanding of cloud networking (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, load balancing)

Ability to troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and network issues
