About the Role
As a Lead Educator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality educational programs, supporting children's learning and development, and mentoring educators within a collaborative team environment.
You will:
- Lead engaging play-based learning programs aligned with the EYLF and QKLG
- Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where children can thrive
- Mentor and collaborate with educators to support quality practice
- Document, assess and support children's learning and development
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Act as Responsible Person when required
- Contribute positively to our centre culture and values
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) – essential
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, QKLG and National Quality Framework
- Experience documenting and assessing children's learning
- Strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills
- Current Paid Blue Card – essential
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and quality outcomes for children
