About The Role
Your clinical experience is more valuable than you think — beyond the bedside. We're looking for Nursing Informatics Specialists to help train and evaluate AI systems designed for healthcare environments. You'll bring real-world nursing knowledge to the table, ensuring AI understands clinical workflows, EHR documentation, and patient care processes the way nurses actually experience them.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role working with Alignerr — a platform that partners with the world's leading AI research labs.

What You'll Do
- Review and evaluate AI-generated clinical content for accuracy, relevance, and real-world applicability
- Apply your nursing expertise to assess how well AI reflects actual clinical workflows and EHR documentation practices
- Identify gaps, errors, or unsafe assumptions in AI outputs related to nursing and health informatics
- Provide structured, detailed feedback to help improve AI understanding of clinical data and care processes
- Translate nursing and informatics knowledge into actionable improvements for AI training datasets
- Work independently and asynchronously — on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with experience in informatics, health IT, or clinical documentation
- Hands-on familiarity with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable reviewing clinical and system data for quality and accuracy
- Ability to communicate complex clinical concepts clearly in writing
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated
- No prior AI experience required — your nursing and informatics knowledge is what matters
Nice to Have
- Experience in data annotation, quality assurance, or clinical data evaluation
- Background in nursing informatics certifications (e.g., ANCC Informatics Nursing)
- Familiarity with clinical decision support systems or health data standards (HL7, FHIR)
