About the Job
This role is open to candidates based in Brisbane, Australia or the West Coast, USA.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Ecommerce Manager to lead the evolution of Coco & Eve’s direct-to-consumer digital presence. This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of brand, data, and technology — responsible for translating our brand vision into a seamless, high-converting digital experience that drives sustainable growth.
You will own the ecommerce strategy end-to-end: from leading UI/UX design change processes and managing our analytics tech stack, to driving SEO and AI indexing strategy, forecasting, and deep customer cohort analysis to improve LTV: CAC across markets. You will be the digital custodian of the Coco & Eve brand experience online, ensuring every touchpoint reflects who we are and drives meaningful business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Digital Experience & UI/UX Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end design change process for UI/UX across all digital touchpoints, acting as the bridge between brand vision and digital execution.
- Champion a brand-led digital experience — ensuring the site, landing pages, and campaign assets deliver a seamless, premium, and on-brand customer journey.
- Partner with UX/UI designers and developers to drive continuous improvements in site architecture, navigation, and visual design.
- Conduct in-depth user research and usability testing to understand customer preferences, pain points, and behaviors, translating findings into actionable site improvements.
Ecommerce Strategy & Forecasting
- Own ecommerce forecasting — developing and maintaining revenue, traffic, and conversion models to inform planning and investment decisions.
- Define and execute the ecommerce roadmap, aligning digital strategy with broader business objectives across markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including brand marketing, product, and development to ensure ecommerce initiatives are integrated and commercially impactful.
- Drive A/B and multivariate testing to optimize key site elements, landing pages, and campaign experiences — ensuring experimentation is structured, insight-led, and tied to clear business outcomes.
Analytics Tech Stack & Data Ownership
- Own and evolve the analytics tech stack — selecting, implementing, and managing the tools that power ecommerce measurement, reporting, and decision-making.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide clear visibility into site performance, customer behavior, and commercial outcomes.
- Drive a data-driven understanding of key customer cohorts to identify opportunities for improving LTV:CAC across markets and channels.
- Generate regular performance reports and strategic recommendations for leadership and stakeholders, translating complex data into clear narratives and actions.
SEO & AI Indexing Strategy
- Lead the SEO strategy, overseeing on-page, technical, and content SEO to drive organic growth across markets.
- Define and execute an AI indexing strategy — ensuring Coco & Eve is optimally positioned for AI-driven search and discovery platforms as the search landscape evolves.
- Stay current on emerging trends in search, AI, and ecommerce, proactively bringing forward recommendations to maintain and grow digital visibility.
Customer Retention & Lifecycle Optimization
- Develop a data-driven understanding of customer cohorts — identifying behavioral patterns, purchase frequency, and lifecycle stages to inform site personalization and retention strategies.
- Work closely with the CRM and performance marketing teams to ensure the digital experience supports customer acquisition, conversion, and long-term loyalty goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve repeat purchase rates, AOV, and overall customer lifetime value through on-site experience and journey optimization.
Your Profile
- 5–8 years of experience in ecommerce management, digital experience, or a related role, with a track record of driving commercial outcomes through digital strategy.
- Demonstrated experience leading UI/UX design change processes and collaborating closely with design and development teams.
- Strong analytical capabilities — comfortable owning an analytics tech stack and translating complex data into strategic recommendations.
- Experience with ecommerce forecasting and multi-market reporting.
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices and a forward-looking view on AI-driven search and indexing.
- Proficiency in web analytics platforms (e.g. GA4, Heap, Amplitude) and experimentation tools (e.g. Optimizely, VWO, or similar).
- Experience with A/B and multivariate testing, with the ability to design, analyze, and action experiments effectively.
- Strong understanding of customer cohort analysis, LTV:CAC dynamics, and lifecycle marketing principles.
- Excellent communication skills — able to present complex insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in beauty or DTC ecommerce preferred but not essential.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
