Business System Analyst

We're partnering with one of our valued clients to recruit an experienced Business Systems Analyst who will take ownership of the support, optimisation and continuous improvement of its corporate business systems, with a strong focus on TechnologyOne ERP. This is an opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of business analysis, from engaging stakeholders and mapping processes through to system configuration, testing, implementation and user adoption.

The opportunity This is far more than a traditional support role. You'll become a trusted advisor to the business, working closely with operational teams, subject matter experts, vendors and technical specialists to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure business systems continue to evolve alongside organisational needs.

You'll play a key role in analysing current and future state processes, translating business requirements into practical solutions, supporting system enhancements and ensuring users have the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting, configuring and continuously improving TechnologyOne ERP and associated corporate systems.
• Partnering with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate requirements into functional solutions.
• Facilitating business process reviews, process mapping and documentation of current and future state workflows.
• Coordinating system enhancements, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and change management activities.
• Working closely with vendors, developers and business users to deliver system improvements and maintain data integrity.

We're looking for someone who brings You'll be an experienced Business Systems Analyst who combines strong technical capability with outstanding stakeholder engagement skills. You know how to ask the right questions, challenge existing processes and build practical solutions that balance business needs with system capability.

Ideally you'll have

• Strong experience supporting and enhancing ERP platforms, ideally TechnologyOne.
• Proven business analysis, process mapping and requirements gathering experience.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
• Exposure to system implementation, configuration, testing and change management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work confidently with business stakeholders, vendors and technical teams.
• Experience developing user documentation, delivering training and supporting successful system adoption.
• TechnologyOne Local Government experience, particularly within Property and Rating modules, will be highly regarded.
