If you're an engineer who's done your time on site and wants to move into the front end tendering, methodology, commercial strategy this is the role.

We're looking for a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to join our Victorian remedial team in a pre-contract focused position. You'll work across civil, structural, and remedial scopes, owning the technical and commercial development of tenders from first look through to award.

About the Role

You'll sit at the intersection of engineering, estimating, and delivery — interpreting client requirements, building methodologies, coordinating design inputs, and making sure our proposals are technically credible and commercially sharp. Primarily office-based, with site exposure where needed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading technical and commercial inputs across tenders and proposals
• Analysing project documentation, drawings, and specifications
• Developing construction methodologies and supporting cost plans
• Coordinating with designers, subcontractors, and suppliers for pricing and technical data
• Supporting risk assessments and value engineering
• Preparing tender submissions for management review
• Handing over awarded projects to delivery teams with full technical alignment

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Experience in estimating, tendering, or pre-contract engineering civil, structural, or remedial
• Site delivery background you understand how projects actually get built
• Commercially aware and analytically sharp
• Strong written communication you can write a methodology that wins work
• Self-directed and organised without needing to be managed
