About Our Client

The finance team supports a broad and busy organisation, providing day-to-day transactional support across accounts payable, accounts receivable, supplier and customer queries, invoice workflows, reconciliations and general finance activity. This is a practical, hands-on environment where accuracy, communication and the ability to work well within a small team are important.
Job Description
- Support day-to-day transactional finance activity across AP and AR
- Manage invoice workflows, including receipting, checking and follow-up
- Respond to supplier, customer and internal stakeholder queries
- Assist with customer invoices, credit notes and payment reminders
- Support reconciliations and general finance administration
- Accurately process and update information within finance systems
- Work closely with a small finance team to support leave cover
- Pick up internal processes quickly and provide hands-on support where needed
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Candidate Should Have
- Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer or transactional finance role
- Confident working across both accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial information
- Comfortable managing supplier, customer and internal stakeholder queries
- Able to pick up new systems and processes quickly
- Reliable, adaptable and happy to support where needed
- Strong communication skills and a practical, team-focused approach
- Available at short notice and comfortable with a short-term contract assignment
