Hays is partnering with a Defence Consultancy, supporting in the delivery of a significant Defence learning and workforce capability program focused on logistics training, professional development and enterprise learning outcomes.
As part of a long-term engagement, we are seeking multiple Learning & Development professionals to support the design, development, administration, management and continuous improvement of nationally significant training programs delivered to Defence personnel, APS employees and international partners. The program encompasses classroom learning, leadership development, workforce capability uplift, digital learning solutions and learning systems management.
About the opportunities
We are building a team of learning professionals across several disciplines and are interested in speaking with candidates from Defence, Government, Education, Vocational Training, Corporate Learning, Organisational Development and Workforce Capability backgrounds.
We are seeking professionals with the following backgrounds and experience:
- Learning Program Manager - Lead the overall planning, governance and delivery of Defence learning programs.
- Course Manager / Training Delivery Manager - Oversee the coordination and successful delivery of learning programs, workshops and seminars.
- Learning Needs Analyst - Support strategic capability development through learning analysis and training needs assessments.
- Instructional Designer / Learning Designer - Design and develop engaging learning solutions, courseware and digital learning products.
- Learning Systems Manager - Manage enterprise learning technologies, learning management systems and training records
- Training Coordinator / Learning Administration Officer - Provide operational and administrative support across training delivery activities.
What you'll need to succeed
We are interested in hearing from candidates who have experience in one or more of the following:
- Defence / Federal Government experience
- Facilitation and training delivery experience
- Existing Baseline or NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance
- Learning and Development experience
- Instructional Design
- Training Delivery in a similar environment
- Learning Systems Administration
- Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Exposure to Defence Learning Frameworks
- Change and Capability Development
- Learning Management System experience (Moodle, ADELE, SuccessFactors, Cornerstone or similar)
- Instructional Design qualifications
