About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to play a key role in delivering recovery-focused care within a forensic mental health setting.

You will provide assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation support to individuals with complex needs, helping them build life skills, improve functioning, and reduce re-offending behaviours. You will also contribute to multidisciplinary care, lead Occupational Therapy input, and support service development and supervision.

Key Duties

  • Deliver OT assessments, interventions, and group programs
  • Support skill development, independence, and community reintegration
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary care planning
  • Promote meaningful engagement and reduce criminogenic behaviours
  • Provide supervision and support to staff/students

About You

  • AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in mental health/forensic or complex settings
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills
  • Commitment to recovery-focused and trauma-informed care
