Due to continued growth across our operations, we are seeking experienced Regional Injury Management Advisors to join us in Brisbane and Perth . These roles offer the opportunity to partner with operational leaders, support injured employees through recovery, and drive best-practice injury management and return-to-work outcomes across our business.
As a Regional Injury Management Advisor, you will develop and implement injury management strategies that facilitate early recovery and durable return-to-work outcomes for our workforce. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in minimising the impact of workplace injuries and fostering a safety-focused culture aligned with Toll's values.
These roles will oversee a portfolio of workers' compensation claims across your respective region and require travel to operational sites to work alongside frontline and senior leaders to achieve continuous improvement in return-to-work outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of workers' compensation injuries and claims.
- Implement and maintain effective injury management and return-to-work strategies.
- Develop graded return-to-work plans for complex injuries and assist managers with identifying suitable duties.
- Arrange and attend case conferences with injured workers, treating practitioners, and other stakeholders to support recovery and safe return to work.
- Provide coaching and training to leaders on proactive workplace rehabilitation, injury management, and early intervention practices.
- Actively manage healthcare and occupational rehabilitation providers, ensuring appropriate treatment pathways and cost-effective outcomes.
- Conduct Job Task Analyses for selected operational roles.
- Identify and implement initiatives that support injury prevention and control medical and related costs.
- Partner with operational leaders to drive a culture of safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health discipline such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or similar.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in injury management, workplace rehabilitation, or return-to-work roles.
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation, rehabilitation, and return-to-work legislation.
- Proven experience managing complex and serious injury claims.
- Demonstrated capability coaching and influencing leaders on return-to-work and rehabilitation best practices.
- Experience developing and implementing injury prevention and recovery strategies.
- Occupational First Aid Certificate (preferred).
- Return to Work Coordinator Certification or exemption where required.
