The Role

The Senior Service Delivery Coordinator is responsible for the operational management and oversight of home care and community-based services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-centered services that support older people to live safely and independently in their homes. The role ensures service delivery is responsive, efficient, and aligned with individual client needs, organisational objectives, funding requirements, and regulatory obligations.

The position provides day-to-day management, supervision, and support to Service Coordinators, Support Workers, and Mentors, ensuring effective workforce performance, service coordination, and operational outcomes. The role is accountable for workforce planning activities, staff development, performance monitoring, workforce growth, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and service excellence.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Desirable - Certificate IV or above in Aged Care, Community Services, Business Administration or Leadership.

Experience

  • Desirable - Ability to speak multiple languages

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience in rostering/scheduling within aged care, community care or similar environment.
  • Previous experience in supervising and mentoring a small team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant aged care legislation, standards, and workforce awards.
  • Proficiency in client and rostering systems (e.g., AlayaCare,).
  • Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
  • Ability to accept directions and provide timely and constructive reporting
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • The ability to work in a culturally sensitive manner within an ethno-specific environment.
  • A preparedness to work to the 10 principles of Eden Alternative philosophy.
  • Working understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements
