Drive Early Stage Projects Powering Remote WA
Join Horizon Power as Project Manager - Development based in our Bentley office. In this newly created role, you will play a key part in shaping renewable and infrastructure projects for remote communities in regional Western Australia. This role sits at the front end of projects - bringing together people, plans and approvals to move projects from concept through to investment decision and delivery readiness.
At Horizon Power, we’re more than an energy provider - we’re delivering essential infrastructure to some of the most remote and unique locations in WA. Working within our Remote Communities division, you’ll help transform how energy is delivered to regional communities, balancing the challenges of distance, logistics and complex environments with innovative, sustainable solutions.
You’ll join a collaborative and outcomes focused team, working across diverse projects that directly impact communities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an emerging/early career or experienced Project Manager to step into a broad, impactful role where organisation, communication and coordination are key.
Your role in action
- Coordinate development phase activities across multiple remote project sites, ensuring progress through governance and approval gates.
- Act as the central point of coordination across technical, procurement, land and approvals and community teams.
- Build business cases, track risks and manage schedules to support the development process and investment decisions.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication and alignment across internal stakeholders to keep projects on track.
- Prepare projects for handover to delivery teams, ensuring readiness across scope, design and compliance.
What you’ll bring
- Proven and successful experience in project management or coordination within infrastructure, energy or a similar environment.
- The ability to plan, sequence and manage multiple workstreams, risks and dependencies in complex environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse internal teams.
- Confidence working as a generalist across all aspects of project development.
- Formal project management qualification or equivalent experience.
