Vocational Trainer

Sunnyfield

Do you have people skills, creativity, and a knack for making things happen? We want you.

If you’re the kind of person who can run a great training session, has a passion and drive to support young people with a disability, chat easily with families, tame a busy inbox, and somehow always know where the spare whiteboard markers are — you’re absolutely our kind of human.

The Impact You’ll Make

You’ll play a key role in supporting school transitions as they take their next big step into adult life — becoming confident, valued members of the community and moving toward meaningful employment.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety — from running group sessions to collaborating with schools, families, and allied health professionals.

What You’ll Be Doing

Welcoming new clients and helping them to identify their goals and strengths

Build genuine connections with clients, families, schools, host employers, TAFEs, and support coordinators

Design and deliver training that people want to show up for

Plan excursions, industry experiences, community activities, and work experience that spark excitement

Keep training spaces organised, welcoming, and well-resourced

Respond to emails and calls with calm, friendly confidence

Embrace technology and enjoy finding new ways to embed it into meaningful learning

Keep client information accurate and up to date ensuring everything runs safely and smoothly (well as smooth as it can be)

What You’ll Bring

We don’t need a superhero — but these will help you shine:

You are someone who loves supporting people with a disability to embrace the community

You have relevant training or education qualification (Cert IV TAE or similar)

Jobskill training experience is essential

Experience delivering skills based group and 1:1 training (extra points if you make learning fun)

Experience supporting people with disability and adapting your approach to different needs

Workplace experience supporting participants centred goals, growth and independence

Able to navigate all things IT – lumary would be an massive advantage but able to work around different client platforms
