Description & Requirements

Being in a business support role at Australia Post means helping our people deliver for every Australian. Just like our Posties, you’re still the people behind every parcel. Whatever your team or role, you’re helping grow our people, grow our business and making a lasting impact on the Australian community. You’ll find a culture of connection in our great people and the flexibility to balance work with life outside of it.

About the opportunity

Join a high-impact national program delivering the Out of Home (OOH) network, where visibility, rigour and informed decision making are critical to success. As the Risk & Reporting Analyst, you’ll sit at the centre of the program, providing leadership with clear, timely insights across risk, performance and delivery. This is an opportunity to own how risk and reporting is done in a complex, multi workstream environment and contribute to a program of real operational and customer significance.

You’ll also

  • Lead program level risk management, maintaining clear, actionable risk and issue registers across all workstreams
  • Produce high quality performance reporting aligned to key program metrics, governance requirements and executive expectations
  • Analyse trends and identify risks, issues and opportunities, providing clear insights to support decision making
  • Support assurance, audit and governance activities, ensuring reporting meets required frameworks and standards
  • Drive continuous improvement of reporting and risk practices, enhancing transparency, data integrity and early warning indicators

About you

You’re a highly analytical and detail oriented professional who thrives in complex, fast moving environments. You bring an independent and objective mindset, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and surface risks early. You’re forward looking in your approach and enjoy working collaboratively across teams while maintaining a disciplined focus on quality and governance.

You’ll also

  • Demonstrated experience in risk management, reporting or PMO roles within complex, multi workstream programs
  • Experience maintaining program level risk and issue registers, ideally within highly visible enterprise initiatives
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate complex data into clear executive level insights
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills, with a high attention to detail
  • Confidence to challenge incomplete or overly optimistic information, with a strong sense of judgement and risk awareness

What else is in it for you?

  • Bring your whole self to work every day and be met by a welcoming bunch of people who respect and support you
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements, like the opportunity to work from home two days per week
  • Opportunities for growth and development through formal programs or mentorship
  • Exclusive team member discounts and offers for more cash in your pocket, evolving policies for flexible working, leave types and access to health and wellbeing resources

All walks, one route

It takes a lot of us to deliver for every Australian – and it’s important to us that our people behind the parcels reflect the people receiving them. We come from all walks. Different backgrounds, different ages, different genders, different sexualities and different abilities, but we all believe in the same purpose.

We welcome people all ages, genders and backgrounds – including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, LGBTQIA+ communities, and refugees. We’re a Disability Confident Recruiter, committed to making our hiring process and workplace inclusive and barrier-free. We’re also working hard to remove bias and build a gender-equitable experience for everyone who joins us. If you’ve got questions about accessibility, reach out to our Diversity & Inclusion team at [email protected] or on 03 8737 9415.
