About the Role

Our Job Readiness Hub is responsible for providing clients with the tools, knowledge and skills required to empower them to effectively navigate the current recruitment market.

The Job Readiness Hub supports clients to develop and enhance their resume and cover letter, apply for jobs, and learn about interviewing processes (including mock interview practice). Each client is provided with tailored support, taking into account their personal circumstances, employment history, access to technology and any additional skills or barriers.

The Job Hub Employment Specialist is responsible for delivering a variety of job readiness appointments to clients to enhance their skills and confidence in applying for and securing work. The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Work with clients to educate, inform and motivate them in their job search journey.
  • Maintain accurate client records to support clients progress through the job search journey.
  • Help to create the best client experience by adhering and contributing to service delivery goals.
  • Support clients with external referrals or resources where required.

About You

We are looking for a strong communicator who is passionate about supporting women and gender diverse people looking for work. Our ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment where every call and appointment is unique and has exceptional time management skills. They will also have the employment services and recruitment knowledge needed to provide high-quality job readiness services for our clients. Excellent technology skills are essential.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience working within recruitment, employment services, human resources, or careers environment. (Experience in a Client Service or Customer Service role is also highly favourable alongside this.)
  • Previous experience in giving feedback and advice on job applications (including Key Selection Criteria), job-seeking documents (Resumes and Cover Letters), and interview skills and techniques will be highly regarded.
  • Experience supporting a diverse range of customers or clients who are experiencing intersecting barriers and complexities is highly regarded.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships and rapport, and accept and implement feedback and suggestions, from both the team and clients, in virtual and face-to-face settings.
  • Skills and efficiency in using computer packages including MS Office, Salesforce and varied methods of phone and video communications.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Employee version) required.
  • Current Police check required.
