About The Position
As the Risk Support Officer, you will provide administrative and analytical support to the Risk team, helping to maintain accurate risk data, coordinate Material Risk Reviews, and support reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with the Risk Lead, you will play an important role in ensuring the integrity of risk management systems and processes while gaining valuable experience within a structured risk function at our client's large-scale mining operation.
Key Responsibilitie s
- Maintain and administer the G360 risk management system, ensuring risk and control information remains accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate and support Material Risk Reviews, including preparing documentation and collating relevant risk and incident data.
Validate, reconcile, and maintain the integrity of risk data to support accurate reporting and compliance.
Assist with the preparation of monthly risk reports and identify, investigate, and escalate data discrepancies where required.
Support risk and assurance projects, including tracking actions, coordinating deliverables, and maintaining project documentation.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance risk management processes and system effectiveness.
Collaborate with the Risk team and key stakeholders to support day-to-day risk management activities across site.
Provide administrative support and assist with ad hoc risk-related tasks and projects as required.
Experience Required
- Experience working in administrative, coordination, or analytical support roles, preferably within a mining, resources, or industrial environment.
- Exposure to risk management systems such as G360 (or similar platforms) is highly regarded.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using data analysis or reporting tools such as Power BI is desirable.
- Ability to interpret, analyse, and validate data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Suitable for graduates or early-career professionals looking to develop experience within a risk, governance, or assurance function.
