Your Impact

This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering the Coles strategy within our Grocery and P&C business. You’ll drive sustainable growth, strengthen one of our most critical national partnerships, and lead the execution of commercial plans that deliver against volume, revenue and profitability targets.

Leading a team of high-performing professionals, you’ll bring together cross-functional stakeholders to unlock category growth, deliver innovation, and position us as a best-in-class partner of choice to Coles.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the Coles account strategy, aligned to broader Grocery and P&C priorities
  • Deliver against key commercial targets including volume, NSV, profitability and customer KPIs
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with Coles through effective joint business planning
  • Drive best-in-class account management and position the business as a strategic partner of choice
  • Oversee the execution of the commercial plan in partnership with Category, Marketing and Planning teams
  • Manage and optimise the 18-month rolling forecast, including stock, SKU rationalisation and obsolescence
  • Identify and lead category growth initiatives, innovation pipelines and customer-led opportunities
  • Provide strong leadership to a team of National Business & Account Managers and Executives
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and delivery of shared commercial outcomes

About You

  • Significant experience in senior sales, account management or commercial leadership roles
  • Proven track record managing large, complex national accounts, ideally with Coles or Woolworths
  • Strong commercial acumen, including P&L ownership, pricing and margin management
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that deliver measurable growth
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams across direct and matrix structures
  • Strong understanding of category management and customer planning processes
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data and market insights into action
  • Tertiary qualifications in business or a related discipline (preferred)
