As a Relationship Marketing & Events Specialist at PwC, you'll bring your B2B event management expertise and strategic marketing instincts to deliver signature experiences that deepen client relationships and drive market growth, based in Melbourne / Naarm. You'll work closely with Partners and cross-functional teams, designing and executing everything from boardroom dinners to large-scale conferences that connect meaningfully with audiences across professional and financial services.

What you’ll do:
Strategy & insights: support the development of relationship marketing and event strategies by analysing data, event analytics, and attendee feedback to surface client insights. Contribute ideas to client engagement plans that drive measurable business outcomes, with guidance from senior team members.
Event delivery & execution: take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of events, including conferences, virtual / hybrid events, workshops, boardroom dinners and sponsorship activations. Manage venue sourcing and negotiation, supplier coordination, onsite delivery, and risk / contingency planning.
Project & budget management: Track project milestones, resourcing, and budgets across multiple concurrent events. Negotiate with vendors to secure quality outcomes and cost efficiencies, escalating commercial decisions as appropriate.
Stakeholder engagement: Build trusted relationships with internal PwC stakeholders (Partners, account teams, marketing, brand) and external partners (industry associations, alliance partners, sponsors). Act as a key day-to-day contact for stakeholders on assigned events.
Marketing & communications : Coordinate event communications plans, including e-comms, web and social media activity, to maximise reach, engagement and inclusivity.
Collaboration & coaching: Work cross-functionally with marketing, brand, account and client service teams to deliver integrated event experiences. Embrace agility and coach and guide peers and others, reviewing their work and supporting their development.
Performance & reporting: Lead post-event evaluations, using data and feedback to measure ROI and prepare insight-led reports for senior leadership. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the marketing and events portfolio.
What we are looking for
Core Skills
Formal qualifications in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Minimum 3–5 years in event management and/or relationship marketing, with demonstrated experience in strategic event design and execution (including large-scale, hybrid, virtual, and multi-stakeholder events).
Effective stakeholder engagement, sponsorship activation, and client relationship management.
Detail-orientated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and deliver on tight deadlines, seamlessly transitioning between planning and execution.
Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
Desirable Skills
Experience in financial or professional services sectors.
Familiarity with event management technologies including CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce), event platforms (including virtual event platforms and attendee management systems), event analytics software, and emerging AI tools relevant to event optimisation.
