Job Description
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting purposes.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimise financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide actionable recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.
The Successful Applicant
- CA/CPA qualification
- Experience in the construction industry/project accounting highly regarded
- A deep understanding of WIP and complex revenue recognition
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
- Excellent ability to challenge the status quo and process improve
- Demonstrated ability to support key decision makers on acquisitions, funding, and 5 year planning.
- Strong ability to build trust with operational stakeholders
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- A proven driver of margin improvement and overall commercial performance.
