Annual and Monthly result achievement
- Manage the ‘Short-Term Sales Planning’ process every month, including sales and stockholding forecasts by model line as well as reporting of actuals to HQ.
- Assist with GEELY sales tactical budget, stock pipeline forecasting, campaign proposals, Dealer payments, Dealer recharges, Dealer performance bonuses and individual support requests, as well as undertaking feasibility studies as required.
- Support the preparation of Planning Rounds on varying scenarios by using available information from internal sources like Product, Marketing and GEELY HQ.
- Produce accurate Stock and Sales Run-Down Report (SSRD) as well as detailed stock reports and distribute to the sales team promptly.
- Analyse monthly stock and sales volumes to Budget and KPI’s, including monthly and ad-hoc reporting to GEELY HQ.
- Prepare weekly/monthly Sales and stock reports, highlight shortfalls to Management and the field force.
- Provide relevant support to Management in executing retail/sales campaigns, incentive programs, stockholding shortfalls and other related initiatives to drive sales.
- Monitor inventory levels and mix every week and determine the course of action with Sales Planning. Monitor all factory orders and reconcile actual production with orders placed and resolve any exceptions.
- Monitor GEELY stock ageing, prepare and provide Management and Field Force with reports.
- Place orders on Geely systems after approval by brand management, including managing the fulfilment of production filling each month.
- Manage the wholesale planning process every month, including wholesale forecasts by model line in cooperation with the Finance and Logistics departments.
- Manage vehicle allocations and ordering process. Consolidate data and prepare orders for approval by brand management.
GEELY Dealer employees
- Provide ongoing support to training participants as required.
- Ensure Dealer personnel use and understand reporting systems and provide assistance as required.
Projects
- Work closely with Product, Finance, IT, Sales and Marketing to develop automations of reporting and processes.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain mutually beneficial and respectful relationships with key functions that support GEELY sales activities (Training, Finance, Aftersales, etc.).
- Assist with the GEELY audit process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Sales Planning, Sales Operations, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or a similar analytical role.
- Automotive industry experience with knowledge of vehicle sales planning and Sales operations.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in sales forecasting, inventory planning, budgeting, KPI analysis, and business reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, ERP systems, or other business intelligence tools is advantageous.
- Experience managing sales planning, stock forecasting, vehicle allocation, and ordering processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Product, and IT.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement in business processes and reporting.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with a commitment to Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) compliance.
