ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an Operator / Leading Hand to join our projects team.
You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of site works on unique and exciting projects across Darwin and the broader NT.
As an Operator / Leading Hand, you will be responsible for the following:
- Supervision and operation of plant, labour, and subcontractors.
- Supporting Supervisors in planning and co-ordination of site work.
- Enforcing and demonstrating safe work practices in all site-related works.
- Ensuring that personnel are adequately trained and supported.
- Assist the Project Manager and Project Engineers with site operations.
ABOUT YOU
You will be an experienced Operator / Leading Hand who has a background in either supervision, or Plant Operations on civil or environmental remediation projects.
You will have:
- 5+ years experience working on Civil or Remediation projects.
- Earthworks experience.
- Demonstrated ability to take a hands-on approach on site.
- Asbestos Removal tickets, advantageous but not essential.
- Plant Operation tickets.
- Drivers licence.
- Australian Citizenship.
