You’ll find a culture of connection in our great people and the flexibility to balance work with life outside of it.

About the opportunity

Reporting to the Commercial & Insights Manager, the FP&A Lead is a high impact individual contributor role at the centre of Retail, Corporate, and Enterprise Services finance. You will be helping senior leaders understand performance, manage risks and make better commercial decisions through the delivery of month-end close, disciplined budgeting and forecasting, commercial insights and improved reporting rhythms. You’ll ensure on-time, high-quality delivery aligned to Enterprise Finance requirements while partnering closely with Finance Business Partners, Group FP&A, and Financial Control to minimise risk and ensure accuracy.

You’ll also

  • Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes through automation and standardisation.
  • Use digital tools to enhance reporting accuracy, speed, and insights.
  • Support the Head of Finance in monitoring financial performance against budget and forecast, preparing executive-ready commentary on material movements, risks, and opportunities.
  • Consolidate and validate reporting across business units, ensuring accuracy and alignment with group standards

About you

You bring strong commercial acumen and can move beyond reporting the numbers to explaining the drivers, risks, and actions that matter. You’re experienced in executive-level reporting and bring strong modelling and scenario analysis skills, able to turn financial performance into operational reality and practical insights. Your are a collaborative partner, build strong relationships and work effectively across teams to drive outcomes.

You’ll also

  • Ideally CA/CPA qualified or near completion, you will bring a minimum of 5-7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, management accounting, or finance business partnering within large, complex organisations with demonstrable ownership of planning cycles (month-end, forecasting, budgeting).
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality management reporting, variance analysis, and bespoke executive-level analysis across multiple business units or cost centres.
  • Strong financial modelling, data manipulation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise information from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience with enterprise planning systems (TM1/Planning Analytics, SAP) and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Ability to design and improve reporting processes, templates, and workflows to enhance accuracy and reduce cycle times.

What else is in it for you?

  • Bring your whole self to work every day and be met by a welcoming bunch of people who respect and support you
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements, like the opportunity to work from home two days per week
  • Opportunities for growth and development through formal programs or mentorship
  • Exclusive team member discounts and offers for more cash in your pocket, evolving policies for flexible working, leave types and access to health and wellbeing resources

All walks, one route

It takes a lot of us to deliver for every Australian – and it’s important to us that our people behind the parcels reflect the people receiving them. We come from all walks. Different backgrounds, different ages, different genders, different sexualities and different abilities, but we all believe in the same purpose.

We welcome people all ages, genders and backgrounds – including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, LGBTQIA+ communities, and refugees. We’re a Disability Confident Recruiter, committed to making our hiring process and workplace inclusive and barrier-free. We’re also working hard to remove bias and build a gender-equitable experience for everyone who joins us.
