Tax Consulting Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Tax Consulting Manager to join Slomoi Immerman Partners (SIP) in Melbourne. This is an opportunity to step into a technical, hands-on manager-level role supporting the delivery of high-quality tax consulting outcomes for private and family business clients.

Why this role?

This is a strong opportunity to step into or continue building in a manager-level role within Tax Consulting. You will work closely with experienced Taxation Directors, support complex advisory work, help develop junior team members, and continue to grow your technical depth in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing tax consulting and advisory work for private and family business clients
• Preparing practical, commercial advice across tax structuring, transactions and direct and indirect tax matters
• Supporting ATO engagement and compliance-related matters
• Working closely with Taxation Directors, clients, referrers and the broader SIP team
• Coaching junior team members and contributing to strong technical standards across the team

What we’re looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, law or a related discipline
• CA, CPA or CTA qualification preferred
• 6+ years’ tax consulting experience in a similar professional services environment
• Confidence working with private and family business clients
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to build trusted relationships and support junior team members
• Holds valid working rights in Australia
